After more than five years of experience working in several student homes, I felt that many times students' needs were not being met. I believed that a home with a different basic philosophy and guidelines would help students in their transition from living in small isolated communities of less than 3,000 to university life in Querétaro, which has a population of about 800,000.
Cadena de Ayuda A.C., which means Chain of Help, opened its doors to students in late July of 2004. The name infers that some day and in some way each student who has received benefits from Cadena de Ayuda should try to help others, with the size and scope of that help not as important as the idea that each one of us should be willing to help others in some way
